Safety instructions:

Never leave unattended: Never leave burning candles unattended.

Keep out of reach: Keep away from children and pets.
Keep distance: Do not light near flammable objects (curtains, newspapers).
Surface: Place on a heat-resistant, stable and level surface.

Special notes for hand-poured containers & soy wax:

Heat sensitivity: Hand-poured containers (e.g. concrete) can get very hot. Do not touch or move the container during or shortly after burning.

Wick care: Trim the wick to approx. 5 mm before each lighting to prevent sooting and excessively large flames.
Burn time: Do not burn the candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time to prevent the container and wax from overheating.
Wax pool: When lighting the candle for the first time, let it burn until the entire surface is liquid (prevents tunneling).
Container inspection: Check the container for cracks before use. Do not use cracked containers.
Disposal & Residue:
Soy wax is biodegradable.
